Autum The Matchmaker

My name is Autum and I’ve been cutting hair in the Portland Metro area for about 15 years with a specialization in men’s hair. At one point, I got my Associate of Science to get in to accounting, but I enjoyed getting to know people more than working with numbers in an office and thus went back to cutting hair.

I’ve chosen a section of the hair industry that doesn’t require appointments. Although I rent my own chair and have my own clients, I still take walk-ins on a regular basis. This means I have a constant stream of various people I see all day long and enjoy many different conversations and diverse personalities. Naturally, if a client talks about being single, I want to set them up.

I’ve had my own personal struggles around online dating. Therefore, I decided to use my resources as a stylist, and my desire to help others find connections by starting this “project.“ I have no degree in psychology. I’m admittedly self-proclaimed, BUT I’ve had success. When someone signs up, I take a look at how well they take care of themselves, their sense of self, their lifestyle goals, and how they portray themselves.

I then aggregate the wealth of information and match likeminded and compatible people with one another. I’m a matchmaker with good intentions, but sometimes I don’t always get it right. I’m a human, not an algorithm. When my matchmaking falters, I care deeply and inquire further to curate my skills in an effort to improve further matchmaking for you. By creating a standard procedure, I’m essentially vetting a partner for you and WE are creating mutual trust in each other. Together, we can find you love.
